What this document states
This document sets out whether and how this website uses artificial intelligence. It covers how the website works and how visitor data is processed.
The website does not use artificial intelligence
This website does not use artificial intelligence in any form. Specifically, the website has no:
- chatbot or automated conversation window;
- virtual assistant or automated agent of any kind;
- automatic generation of replies to visitors;
- algorithmically produced personalised recommendations;
- algorithmic profiling of visitors;
- automated decisions concerning visitors;
- facial recognition, image analysis or voice analysis.
The website calls no artificial intelligence service and loads no machine learning library, neither on the server nor in your browser.
The dining and travel recommendation sections are manually written lists, the same for every visitor. They are neither generated nor ordered algorithmically.
Who answers booking requests
Requests sent through the booking form are read by the owner of the property, a private individual, and it is the owner who answers them. There is no automatic reply, no automatic confirmation and no automatic refusal.
The form does nothing more than structure the data you enter — room type, dates, number of guests, name and phone number — and prepare it as a WhatsApp message to the owner. You send that message yourself, from your own WhatsApp app. Where a booking e-mail address is configured, the same request also reaches the owner by e-mail, as an internal notification.
A booking is considered confirmed only once the owner has replied.
No automated decisions within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR
No decision is taken based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, within the meaning of Article 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
The website has two technical checks that do not fall into that category: validation of the form data (valid dates, valid period, number of guests within the capacity of the room) and a limit on how many requests may be sent within a period of time, to prevent abuse. Neither evaluates the person and neither decides on the booking.
Your data does not reach artificial intelligence providers
Data collected through this website is not used to train any artificial intelligence model and is not passed to artificial intelligence service providers.
Our own traffic statistics are aggregated: we record the page visited, the language, the source of the visit, the device type and the browser, while the IP address is kept solely as an irreversible cryptographic fingerprint. No location is determined. No individual profile is built and no decision is taken on that basis.
The external services the website uses are listed in the Cookie policy and in the Privacy policy. None of them is an artificial intelligence service.
Changes
Should any of the statements above cease to be true, this document is updated before the change is put into operation. Every new version receives a version number and a publication date, shown at the top of the page.
