Data controller

Personal data collected through this website is processed by Bihari Robert, a private individual acting as data controller, for the SMB Home PANORAMA accommodation, Strada Sebeșului nr. 3, Oradea, Bihor County, Romania.

What data we collect

Through the booking request form we collect:

  • your full name;
  • your phone number;
  • your email address, if you choose to provide it;
  • the type of accommodation, the check-in and check-out dates, the number of adults;
  • the optional message you write;
  • the language of the page you submitted from and the address of that page.

For security reasons we also record a fingerprint of your IP address, your browser identifier and the time of submission.

We do not collect data through any other form, and we do not ask for special categories of data such as health or beliefs.

Legal basis

  • Your consent, given by ticking the box in the form, for handling the booking request and contacting you about it.
  • Our legitimate interest in keeping the website functional and protected: limiting automated submissions, preventing abuse and keeping a log of administrative operations.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, by email or phone. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

IP address

Your IP address is never stored in clear text. An irreversible cryptographic fingerprint is derived from it using a secret key kept separately from the database. The fingerprint lets us limit repeated submissions and investigate abuse without reconstructing the actual address.

Sending the message to WhatsApp

The form does not send the message on your behalf. Once you fill it in, the website composes the text of the request and opens the WhatsApp application on your device with the message already written. You are the one who actually sends it.

From the moment the message reaches WhatsApp, the conversation is governed by the terms and the privacy policy of the WhatsApp service, which acts as an independent controller for the data in that conversation. Such processing is outside our control.

How long we keep the data

Booking requests are kept for 24 months from receipt, then deleted automatically.

The consent record is kept separately, as proof of your agreement, and remains after the request itself is deleted. It contains the version of the text you accepted, the time of acceptance and the fingerprint of the IP address, but not your name, phone number or message.

Who we disclose data to

We neither sell nor rent data to anyone. It is accessible to the controller and to the hosting provider, acting as a processor, strictly in order to keep the website running.

We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area. If you choose to continue the conversation in WhatsApp, any transfers carried out by that service are governed by its own policy.

Your rights

  • the right of access to your data;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
  • the right to erasure;
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to object;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Complaints

If you consider that the processing of your data infringes the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

Our own traffic statistics

We measure the website's traffic with our own means, on our own server. We do not use Google Analytics or any other external analytics service, and no cookie is set for statistics.

For each page opened we record: the date, the page visited, the language, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), the operating system and browser, the website you arrived from, if any, and a fingerprint of your IP address.

The IP address is never stored in clear and is not used for anything else: we keep only the irreversible fingerprint described above, which lets us count distinct visitors on a given day without knowing who they are. We do not determine the country, the region or the city, and we do not track your behaviour across visits or across other websites.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it. You may object to this processing by writing to the contact address.

Cookies

The website uses a small number of cookies, described in the Cookie Policy.

Language of the documents

The legal documents on this website are drawn up in Romanian. The Romanian version is the one that has legal effect; translations are provided to aid understanding.

If a document does not exist in the language of the page you are visiting, you are shown the English version, and failing that the Romanian one.

When you accept a document, we record its version, the language in which it was shown to you and a digital fingerprint of the exact text you read, so that this text can be reconstructed later.

Changes

Every new version of this document receives a version number and a publication date, shown at the top of the page. Consents already recorded remain linked to the version accepted at the time they were given.
