Cookie Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser in order to remember information between pages or between visits.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the website to work and cannot be disabled. They are not used for advertising and do not track your behaviour on other websites.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| smbp_sess | Identifies the session during your visit and carries the token that protects the form against fraudulent submissions. | Until the session ends |
| smbp_consent | Remembers your cookie choice so that the banner does not reappear on every page. | 12 months |
The page language is not stored in a cookie: it follows from the address of the page you are visiting.
Analytics cookies
The website may use a traffic statistics service, if the administrator has enabled one. Such cookies are loaded only after you explicitly accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, the statistics script is not loaded at all and no cookie of this kind is set.
While the service is not enabled, the website sets no analytics cookie whatsoever.
Third-party content
The map on the contact page uses map tiles from OpenStreetMap. The library that draws the map is hosted on our own server, but the map images are downloaded from openstreetmap.org, and that request exposes your IP address to their server. For this reason the map appears only after you accept the third-party content category, and even then only once you click on it.
OpenStreetMap does not set tracking cookies for map tiles. Until you accept, the written address and a link to directions are shown in its place.
How to change or withdraw your consent
A Cookie preferences button sits in the footer of every page. You can use it at any time: the banner reappears with your current choice, which you can change per category or withdraw entirely by pressing Reject all.
The new choice takes effect immediately and is recorded just like the first one, with its date and the version of this document. Withdrawing returns the website to its default state, in which neither statistics nor third-party content are loaded.
You may equally delete this website cookies from your browser settings: on your next visit the banner reappears and you choose again.
Blocking cookies entirely in your browser may stop the booking form from working, because its protection against fraudulent submissions relies on the session cookie.
Changes
Every new version of this document receives a version number and a publication date. When the version changes, the banner reappears for all visitors so that the choice is made again on an informed basis.
